I was delighted with my stay at this hotel. The room service meal was fantastic value for money and delicious, and we loved the spacious room with patio doors for our pet to exercise outside. The hotel's leisure facilities lacked temperature control, but this didn't bother us too much.
Rooms
9.0
The room was excellent, offering a bedroom, bathroom, and lounge with patio doors for easy pet exercise.
Service
7.0
The service was good overall, with staff more focused on preparing lunch than breakfast. The tables were promptly cleaned.
Location

The hotel resolved issues effectively, and the grounds were lovely for events like weddings. Its location is great for exploring the Ribble Valley and beyond.
Dining
6.0
The on-site restaurant was fantastic, although the overall dining experience was a bit disappointing considering the price.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel's facilities were decent, but the lack of details about the leisure facilities was a downside.

The hotel had not been cleaned properly as shower gel from previous guests was still in the bathroom. The rooms were a little dated and did not match the rest of the hotel facilities. We did enjoy an early breakfast. It was definitely value for money, especially since we only booked two days before.
Rooms
6.0
The room cleanliness was not up to par with shower gel left from previous guests and the room being dated.
Service
7.0
The service was friendly, and they provided us with two keys and handed us a room sheet. They were all very helpful and attentive, even offering us lukewarm tea.
Location

The hotel needs a refurbishment, but it was warm and clean. The staff, especially James the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond their duties.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had its flaws, with a confused mess at times. However, in fairness, the meals were excellent when freshly cooked.
Facilities
7.0
There was a steam room by the indoor pool, but some areas like the patio had issues with cigarette butts and broken flags.

The hotel is conveniently located in the beautiful Ribble Valley. The rooms are very large and comfortable, but some maintenance issues need attention. The service is friendly overall, with a minor issue at reception. The dining experience fell short of expectations, and the facilities need some improvements. The pricing could be better for what's offered.
